ABOUT US
The Greater West Family Law Practitioners Association Inc (“GWFLPA”) was formed to provide an association for judicial, legal, paralegal, social science and finance professionals who practice in the field of Family Law in the geographic area serviced by the Parramatta and Dubbo Registries of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
The Association has the support of the judicial and administrative personnel at the Parramatta and Dubbo Registries.
OUR OBJECTIVES
to promote discussion and exchange of ideas in relation to the practice of Family Law
to provide a means of practitioners networking and interacting – especially those practising in Greater Western Sydney and in the Central West / Orange regional areas
to represent the interests of Family Law practitioners to government and other organisations;
to provide professional development, mentoring and support as required to practitioners, particularly to new graduates and those who are new to Family Law.

Our committee members bring a wealth of expertise from various legal, social science, and financial backgrounds, ensuring that our association remains a dynamic and supportive network for all practitioners.
Together, we promote professional development, mentor new graduates, and advocate for the interests of Family Law practitioners at all levels.
